Audi is a premier automaker known for their high-quality vehicles. The name brand is perhaps best known for their luxury and sports vehicles. The company is always looking for ways to innovate and evolve. Here at Audi Pasadena, we are excited for what the future of Audi might bring.

One exciting bit of news for Glendale enthusiasts, is that Audi plans to launch an electric version of the A6, called the A6 E-Tron. They continue to add to their electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid lineup with each passing year. The A6 E-Tron is scheduled for a late 2022 release, though it's officially a 2023 model.

Some stealthy photographers managed to capture pictures of the upcoming vehicle during test runs at the famous Nurburgring Race Track. Audi used a camouflage wrap to obscure the finer details, but it appears that much of the styling of the current gasoline-powered A6 has been kept. At least, this is the case for the exterior.

The new A6 will use Premium Platform Electric technology that was developed by Audi in conjunction with Porsche. The concept version of this car had two motors. It produced 470 horsepower and may be able to get up to 60 mph in under 4 seconds. That is an exhilarating trip through Alhambra. At least, that's what Audi is aiming for.

In other news that may be of interest to Audi fans in Arcadia, the company has announced that its 2023 lineup will offer more standard features. There will be more available options across all vehicles too. Price changes will be kept to a minimum for 2023. There will also be more electric vehicles such as the Q4 E-Tron and the Q4 Sportback E-Tron.
